Omg I have to talk about this dress. Like, it’s been weeks since my birthday and I still randomly think about how perfect it was. I know I sound extra, but just hear me out.

So it’s this wine-red maxi dress. I wore it at Disney’s Grand Floridian – you know, that huge hotel with the giant Christmas tree and the white marble floors? I was a little worried the red would be too much, but it actually popped like crazy against all that fancy bright decor. I got so many compliments, not just from my friends but even random people at the restaurant. One lady stopped me in the hallway and asked where I got it. Felt like a movie star for a second lol.

The crazy thing? It was actually comfortable. I walked around for hours, posed by that horse carriage thing, sat on a stone ledge with a bunch of poinsettias – you know, typical Disney photo stuff. Then later I danced at the restaurant. Usually with a nice dress you’re constantly pulling it up or worrying it’s too tight. But this one is this soft stretchy jersey material, no itchy tags, no weird seams digging into me. It didn’t ride up or get all wrinkled. And I wore these strappy heels that kinda hurt, but the dress was loose enough that nobody could tell how clumsy I was walking haha.

Also – it changes into three looks. First I wore it as a sleeveless V-neck. Then I twisted the straps into a halter for the lobby photos – looked like a whole different dress. Later I crossed them in the back for a crisscross thing. So I basically got three dresses without carrying extra clothes. Saved me so much hassle.

I was really nervous about dancing at first, not gonna lie. But then I just… forgot about the dress? I was jumping around, doing silly moves with my friends, and it stayed put. That’s honestly the best part – when you stop thinking about how you look and just enjoy the night. Looking at the photos now, every single one has me in this dress but each photo looks like a different outfit. I’ve already started planning future events just so I can wear it again.
